ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 SECTION 14(2) SHORT DURATION ROAD CLOSURES SURREY ROAD & GORDON ROAD
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
SURREY ROAD: The Borough and County of the Town of Poole hereby gives Notice that on Sunday 7 June 2015 between the hours of 7.30am and 7pm no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed westbound along Surrey Road between Branksome Wood Road and Bourne Valley Road. The diversion will be via Coy Pond Road which will have the 'Stopped-Up' Order temporarily revoked. For eastbound traffic the diversion will be via Gordon Road. GORDON ROAD: The Borough and County of the Town of Poole hereby also gives Notice that on Monday 8 June 2015 between the hours of 7.30am and 7pm no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed along Gordon Road. The 'No Entry Order' will be temporarily revoked to allow access only for residents from Surrey Road.
COY POND ROAD: The Borough and County of
the Town of Poole hereby gives Notice that the 'Stopped-Up Order' will be temporarily revoked for the duration of the works taking place in Surrey Road. The temporary closures are necessary for safety inspections of the Viaduct and the Council is satisfied that traffic on the said roads shall be prohibited.
