ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE FOOTPATH BETWEEN DEVON ROAD AND POUND LANE
THE POOLE (FOOTPATH BETWEEN DEVON ROAD AND POUND LANE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES AND PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2015
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Borough and County of the Town of Poole, the Highway Authority, is satisfied that vehicles and pedestrians on the said Footpath should be prohibited and has made an Order in exercise of its powers under Section 5, 14(1), 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers as detailed above, the effect of which is that no person or vehicle shall proceed along the footpath between Devon Road and Pound Lane. The proposed closure is required for resurfacing of the footpath

The proposed Order is effective from 8am on Monday 10 August to 6pm on Friday 14 August 2015. The Order is operative for the period mentioned above but will continue in force for the statutory period of six months if required.

If the works are not completed within the statutory
period the Order may be extended with the approval of
the Secretary of State for Transport.
Any person who uses or permits the use of a vehicle in
contravention of the Order will be liable on summary
conviction to a fine not exceeding £400.
