NOTICE OF PUBLIC CONSULTATION SWANAGE LOCAL PLAN PRE-SUBMISSION PUBLICATION
REGULATION 19 OF THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (LOCAL PLANNING) (ENGLAND) REGULATIONS 2012
Purbeck District Council is inviting representations on the Swanage Local Plan Pre-submission Document (September 2015) and the Swanage Local Plan Sustainability Appraisal (September 2015). Purbeck District Council, Swanage Town Council and the Swanage Town and Community Partnership are working together to produce a Local Plan for Swanage. The plan includes proposals for new homes and shopping space. Swanage residents and businesses and other interested parties are invited to make representations on whether the Swanage Local Plan Pre-submission Document is sound and has been prepared in accordance with legal requirements. The Swanage Local Plan Pre-submission Document and the Swanage Local Plan Sustainability Appraisal will be published for comments for a six week period from Thursday 24 September to Friday 6 November 201S. Representations must be submitted to the District Council by post or electronically using the official response form by 4pm Friday 6 November 2015 The Council will hold three drop-in events, where people can meet informally with officers to find out how to respond.

- Wednesday 14 October, 10am -1pm All Saints Church

- Thursday 15 October, 2pm - 5pm Emmanuel Church

Paper copies can be viewed at local libraries; the Town Council offices and at Purbeck District Council offices, Worgret Road, Wareham, BH20 4PP.
