WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 DECLARATION OF NATIONAL NATURE RESERVE PARISH OF CHILD OKEFORD
COUNTYOF DORSET
NOTICE is hereby given that: In pursuance of section 35(1) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, Natural England has, by the Hambledon Hill National Nature Reserve No. 2 Declaration 2015 made on the 24 day of November 2015, declared the land referred to therein a National Nature Reserve.
The land having a total area of 49.21 hectares or thereabouts, situated in the parishes of Child Okeford in the county of Dorset and shown single hatched and shaded yellow on map C attached to the said Declaration is held by the National Trust, a body approved by Natural England, and is being managed as a nature reserve.
Natural England is satisfied that the said land is of national importance. Certified copies of the Hambledon Hill National Nature Reserve No. 2 Declaration 2015 have been deposited for public inspection free of charge for one month during normal office hours at the offices of Dorset County Council, North Dorset District Council and at the offices of Natural England at Rivers House, Sunrise Business Park, Higher Shaftesbury Road, Blandford Forum, Dorset, DT11 8ST. A certified copy may also be viewed on Natural England's website at https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/ national-nature-reserves-formal-notice-of-new-or-extended-sites.
