ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 DORSET WAY (LANE CLOSURE FROM THE JUNCTION WITH NUFFIELD ROAD TO THE SLIP ROAD ONTO DORSET WAY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2016

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Borough and Count/ of the Town of Poole, the Highway Authority, is satisfied that traffic on the said Road should be prohibited and intends not less than seven days from the date of this Order in exercise of its powers under Section 5, 14( I), 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers as detailed above.
The effect of this Order is that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed along the inside lane from its junction with Nuffield Road to the Slip Road onto Dorset Way.

THE POOLE (DORSET WAY) (TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2016
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Borough and County of the Town of Poole, the Highway Authority is satisfied that traffic on the said road should be restricted and intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, the effect of which is that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed at a speed greater than 30 mph on Dorset Way from Fleetsbridge Roundabout to the Slip Road with Dorset Way.
The proposed restriction is required in order to provide for safe vehicle speeds in the vicinity of an area where works are being undertaken on the highway.
THE LANE CLOSURE AND SPEED LIMIT IS REQUIRED FROM MONDAY 15 FEBRUARY 2016 UNTIL FRIDAY 4 MARCH 2016
Emergency vehicles will be accommodated on a one-off basis.
THE PROPOSED CLOSURE IS REQUIRED FOR SEWER RELINING
The proposed Order is effective from Monday 15 February 2016 until Friday 4 March 2016. The Order is operative for the period mentioned above but will continue in force for the statutory period of eighteen months if required.
If the works are not completed within the statutory period the Order may be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport
Any person who uses or permits the use of a vehicle in contravention of the Order will be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £400.
