KEY LANE FOOTPATH
THE POOLE (KEY LANE FOOTPATH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES AND PEDESTRIANS)ORDER 2016

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Borough and County of the Town of Poole, the Highway Authority, is satisfied
that pedestrians on the said Footpath should be prohibited and has made an Order in exercise of its powers under
Section 5, 14( I), 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers as detailed above,
the effect of which is that no person or vehicle shall proceed along Key Lane from its junction with the High
Street for an approximate distance of 15-20m.
The proposed closure is required to erect a BT cabinet The proposed Order is effective from Monday 14 March
to Friday 18 March 2016. The Order is operative for the period mentioned above but will continue in force for the
statutory period of six months if required.
If the works are not completed within the statutory period the Order may be extended with the approval of
the Secretary of State for Transport.
Any person who uses or permits the use of a vehicle in contravention of the Order will be liable on summary
conviction to a fine not exceeding £400.
