BOROUGH OF POOLE

THE POOLE (TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) (VARIOUS ROADS AND PARKING PLACES) OFF STREET CAR PARKS (AMENDMENT NO. 161) ORDER 2015

The Council of The Borough and County of the Town of Poole, the Highway Authority in exercise of its powers under Section 35(C), 45,46,46(A), 49 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and in compliance with Sections 25(1), (3) and 5(A) of Part V of the Local Authorities Traffic Order (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with paragraph 20 of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 proposes to make an Order the effect of which is to introduce the following restrictions:

161 Car Share Bays: The Driver of a vehicle shall not permit it to wait in that parking bay unless it has been used to transport more than one person and also more than one Council Approved Permit is on display through the windscreen.
Car Share Bays:

Electric Vehicle Charging Bays:

The Driver of a vehicle shall not permit it to wait in that parking bay unless it is being used to recharge the vehicle and is connected to the electrical supply.

Reserved Bays: The Driver of a vehicle shall not permit it to wait in that parking bay unless a Council approved permit is visible through the windscreen.
