Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976

Christchurch Borough Council and East Dorset District Council Hereby Give Notice that they intend to vary the licence fees for hackney carriage and private hire drivers and private hire operators to come into force on 1st October 2015.
The Proposed new fees are as follows and reflect new laws that oblige Councils to issue licences for 3 year and 5 year periods respectively:-

Licence                                           Cost           Current cost
Three year drivers licence                £162          Â£58 per year
Five year operator licence               £216          £65 per year

A copy of this Notice shall be open to public inspection at the Council Offices, Furzehill, Wimborne and Civic Offices, Bridge Street, Christchurch during normal office hours. Any objections to the proposed fees should be submitted in writing to the Head of Health and Housing.
