Raymond ‘Glynn’ PARRIS

PARRIS Raymond 'Glynn' Passed away suddenly on 21st October 2022 at Bournemouth hospital aged 82 years. Devoted husband to Gwen. A dear brother, Uncle and Friend. Funeral service to take place at St Marks Church, Talbot Woods on 21st November 2022 at 1pm, followed by the internment.

Very sad to hear the sad news about the death of Glynn.
My Dad, Pete ,worked with Glynn at Brooklyns /Westbrick for many years and Dad considered him a very good friend. We always knew Glynn as " Lofty"and my Mum Dad and I spent lovely social times with both Glynn and Gwen. I was only young then, but I have fond memories of Glynn and Gwen. Always good fun and very kind people.
I had not see Glynn for many years and then at Derek Bardsley's funeral ( another dear friend and work colleague of my Dad) I hear a very distinctive deep voice that brought back fond memories. I knew that it was Glynn even after some 30 years. We caught up on the good times and memories of my Dad and of Derek and Gwen of course. My condolences to Glynn's family and friends at this sad time. RIP
