WOOD Susan Finally put down her knitting and passed away at the Macmillan unit in Christchurch, aged 80, on Sunday 13th November, 2022. Hugely loved by her children Dave, Jon and Samantha, her children-in-law Alison, Rachel and David, and her beloved grandchildren Marcus, Rebecca, Corey, Alexander, Charis and Daphne, plus a huge amount of friends - she will be greatly missed by so many. Sue spent her life being warm, witty, creative and selfless and faced the last couple of years with the bravery, resilience - and some may say stubbornness - we all knew she would. We are heartbroken to have said goodbye but feel so grateful to have been loved by such a wonderful woman. The funeral will be held on Saturday 3rd December, 12pm at Bournemouth Crematorium. Bright coloured clothes welcomed. Please no flowers for her, but if you would like to make a donation to the Macmillan Unit in Christchurch where she was looked after, that would be lovely. Or perhaps buy a small bunch of flowers for someone you love who is still with us - we know she'd like that.
