SCOTT Audrey It is with great sadness that the family of Audrey Scott announces her passing on Tuesday, January 3rd at the age of seventy-nine. She was preceded in death by her dear husband Graham and sister Anne Stevenson. She is survived by her children Beverley Kym Scott and Wayne Graham Scott, and her brother Alastair Parkin. Audrey started out in life connecting people from around the UK and the world through the telephone exchange she worked at in Cirencester. Audrey loved to organize events, from the daily and weekly schedules for her daughter's swimming career to her beloved husband's vintage car club extravaganzas and charities. Audrey was a keen sports fan with a passion for watching swimming, athletics, and tennis, especially Wimbledon. She kept her mind sharp by devouring books and playing word puzzles. And she kept her heart warm with her large collection of teddy bears. The family is eternally grateful for all her friends who popped in for tea and kept her spirits up, adding a steady stream of new books to the library. In the end, her battle with a long illness took its toll, and she will be forever missed. Celebration of Life Services will take place at Harbour View Woodland Burial Ground on Thursday 9th February at 11am in Harbour Lodge; please contact Tappers Funeral Service for further information.
