PATTERSON Richard (Dick) MBE Dick passed away on 5th September 2024 at Somerleigh Court Nursing Home, Dorchester, aged 93, a much-loved father and grandfather of eight. Previously Dorset County Architect, Dick was subsequently Chairman of the Dorset ME support group for nearly 20 years. He was awarded an MBE for services to those with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and ME in 2007. He was a true inspiration and friend to many a very special person. A funeral service will take place at St George's Church, Fordington, Dorchester on Monday 7th October at 11.30am with a private burial for family members afterwards.
