POLICE are continuing their search for a Volvo XC90 involved in the Jade Clark fatal hit-and-run crash.
Following an emotional event in memory of the 16-year-old Ringwood youngster, left, at the weekend, officers continue to hunt for the driver of the light-coloured Volvo XC90, who left the scene of the collision before police arrived on Sunday, February 24.
Family and friends of Jade gathered at Carvers Recreation Ground in Ringwood on Saturday to release 70 balloons in her memory.
A £5,000 reward has been offered by Crimestoppers and Ringwood-based company Churchill Retirement Living for information that leads to an arrest and charge.
The search for the car is now a joint investigation by Dorset Police’s major crime investigation team and traffic department.
Officers have already begun visiting all registered owners of Volvo XC90s, with more than 300 vehicles eliminated over six counties.
Police believe the vehicle would have suffered front-end damage as a result of the incident.
Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
