A MALE cyclist has been taken to hospital after a collision at Steeple in Purbeck this morning.
The 21-year-old man from Blandford was in collision with a vehicle registered to a woman from Wareham at 10.14am.
Three ambulances attended the scene and the cyclist was airlifted to Dorset County Hospital.
Police confirmed he does not have life-threatening or life-changing injuries. The female car driver was unhurt.
The road, which leads from Grange Hill to Church Knowle and Corfe Castle, was closed in both directions to await a recovery of the red Nissan Micra car. It reopened at 1.35pm.
