A CATALOGUE of 41 previous offences was outlined by prosecutors before evil Goodwin was sentenced.
His criminal career started aged just 14 when he committed burglary, then indecently assaulted a five-year-old boy on land near his Poole home.
Since then he has spent many years in prison, always re-offending on release.
NOVEMBER 1994: Convicted of burglary and theft.
NOVEMBER 1994: Indecent assault of a five-year-old boy. Given a two-year supervision order.
SEPTEMBER 1995: Two common assaults which left two care workers who were looking after him in need of hospital treatment.
MARCH 1996: Attacked a school teacher and other people at his school and burned a schoolboy’s hair. Sentenced to two months in a Young Offender Institution.
JUNE 1997: Robbery at a clothing store in Ashley Road, Poole. He punched a female employee and dragged her to a stock room. Took money from her and told her: “You were lucky I didn’t rape you.”
MARCH 1999: Attempted burglary of his parents’ and grandparents’ home MARCH 2000: Released to a bail hostel in Boscombe.
MAY 2000: Indecent assault of 13-year-old girl. Told her: “If you scream I will cut you up.” Contacted her on Facebook 12 years later.
MAY 2000: Indecent assault of 63-year-old woman.
MAY 2004: Released from jail but absconded and attacked a 25-year-old woman in West Dorset. Jailed for seven years JULY 2009: Released to a hostel in Somerset.
AUGUST 2009: Committed offences on the Isle of Wight including aggravated vehicle taking. Re-arrested.
NOVEMBER 2011: Released JANUARY 2012: Arrested for soliciting.
