TELEVISION cameras come to Lulworth Castle this week for the BBC’s antiques programme Flog It!
A valuation day will be held on Thursday, May 8 and residents are invited to bring along up to three items they may be interested in selling. It takes place between 9.30am and 4.30pm.
Presenter Paul Martin, pictured right, will be joined on the day by experts Mark Stacey, Catherine Southon and David Fletcher. Antiques and collectables selected at the valuation day will go under the hammer at Charterhouse Auctioneers, Sherborne, on Friday, June 6.
James Weld of Lulworth Estate said: “Following on from Antiques Roadshow’s successful visit back in 2011, we are all very pleased to be welcoming presenter Paul Martin and the Flog It team to Lulworth Castle.
“We hope this event will be equally well supported and people will join us for what promises to be an interesting and enjoyable day.”
Louise Hibbins, series producer, said: “If you’ve ever wondered how much your boot sale bargains or clutter in the loft might be worth, now is your chance to find out.”
