IF you haven’t had enough of a football fix so far in this World Cup, today’s the day that it starts getting serious.
The final games take place in Group A (9pm) and Group B (5pm).
As always, the last group matches take place simultaneously, with four games today.
Host nation Brazil will be eager to make sure they don’t slip up in their last game against Cameroon at 9pm.
After winning their first match and drawing their second, they need to avoid defeat to make sure they don’t suffer the embarrassment of not making the final 16.
It must be said that it’s unlikely against a Cameroon side that are playing only for pride after losing both their matches so far, including a heavy 4-0 defeat by Croatia.

Erica Karouk, who works in Bournemouth, is following her home country, Brazil.
She said she still believed Brazil could go on to win the tournament despite an uninspiring goalless draw against Mexico last time out.
“I think we will be better against Cameroon than we were in the previous game,” she added.
“It was disappointing and we need to improve.
“We have been quite disorganised and I think everyone is relying on Neymar too much. I think if we perform better tonight then we will be okay and win. I’m predicting 2-0 and that Neymar will get the goals,” said Erica.
The group is wide open, with Croatia and Mexico both winning a game each and Mexico drawing with Brazil.
It’s winner takes all here – whoever wins will qualify – but a point will do for Mexico.
Mexican Ana Munoz, who works in Bournemouth, said: “It was a great result against Brazil and a great game.
“Even though it was a draw it was really exciting. They will go for the win (against Croatia). This goal keeper that we have got (Guillermo Ochoa) did really well in the last game.
“I’m looking forward to it, Mexico is a country that breathes football – everything stops when the games are on.”
But, before all of that, Group B comes to a close, with Australia playing Spain and Netherlands against Chile, both at 5pm.
Incredibly, outgoing World Champions Spain are playing only to salvage a shred of pride after a shocking defence of the title that they won in 2010.
Having lost both games, they are already out of the tournament and one thing’s for sure – there will be new champions this year.
While Group A is on a knife edge, Group B is already sorted, with Netherlands and Chile winning both their opening games.
When they meet tonight, the outcome will affect only who tops the group – whoever comes second is likely to face Brazil in the last 16.
A draw will be enough for the Netherlands to avoid the hosts thanks to their superior goal difference.
