MORE drink drivers have faced the courts as part of Dorset Police’s summer clampdown.

Revealed: 12 motorists caught drink driving in police crackdown
Between 1 June 2014 and 27 July 2014, 84 people have been charged with drink or drug driving-related offences.
Anyone caught driving while impaired by alcohol or drug use will face a minimum 12 month driving ban, a criminal record, up to six months in prison and a fine of up to £5,000.
If you suspect someone is driving under the influence, call 999 immediately so police can intercept, or call 101 with non-urgent information.
The initiative will continue until July 31.
David Brown, 23, of Keswick Road, Bournemouth. He pleaded guilty to driving an Audi A3 in Pauncefote Road, Bournemouth, on June 28 while over the limit (70 microgrammes in 100ml breath). At Bournemouth Magistrates Court on July 14 he was fined £180, with £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge. He was banned from driving for 17 months.
Declan Clamp, 20, of Linden Way, Lymington. On June 29 drove a Vauxhall Corsa on the Wessex Way, Bournemouth, while over the limit (76 microgrammes in 100ml breath). Pleaded guilty and appeared at Bournemouth Magistrates Court on July 14 where he was fined £200, with £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge. He was banned from driving for 17 months.
Amelia Rose, 28, of St Catherines Road, Bournemouth. On June 27 drove a silver Ford Focus in Harewood Avenue, Bournemouth, while over the limit (67 microgrammes in 100ml breath). Pleaded guilty at Bournemouth Magistrates Court on July 14 and was fined £140, with £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge. She was banned from driving for 17 months.
Jade Sharps, 24. On June 27 drove a silver Ford Focus in Moore Avenue, Bournemouth, while over the limit (67 microgrammes in 100ml breath), without valid test certificate and failed to stop after collision with bus stop. Pleaded guilty and appeared at Bournemouth Magistrates Court on July 14 where she was fined £185, with £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge, and banned from driving for 17 months.
Bradley Smith, 26, of Carisbrooke Court, New Milton. On June 28 drove a Rover in Lyndhurst Road, Hinton, Christchurch, while over the limit (53 microgrammes in 100ml breath). Pleaded guilty at Bournemouth Magistrates Court on July 14 and was fined £240, with £85 costs and £24 victim surcharge. Banned from driving for 12 months.
James Stevens, 21, of Howard Road, Swanage. On June 28 drove a Ford Focus in Commercial Road, Bournemouth, while over the limit (40 microgrammes in 100ml breath). Pleaded guilty and appeared at Bournemouth Magistrates Court on July 14. Fined £250, with £85 costs and £25 victim surcharge. Banned from driving for 12 months.
Elaine Mulholland, 46, of Oakbury Drive, Weymouth, drove a Peugeot 206 in Preston Road, Weymouth, on June 17 while over the limit (74 microgrammes in 100ml breath). She pleaded guilty at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on 11 July 2014 and was fined £200, with £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge. She was banned from driving for 12 months.
Jacqueline Fell, 56, of The Brambles, Corscombe, Dorchester, drove a Renault Clio in The Square, Broadwindsor, Beaminster, on June 23 while over the limit (88 microgrammes in 100ml breath) and without insurance. She pleaded guilty and appeared before Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on 11 July 2014 where she was fined £300, with £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge. She was banned from driving for 16 months.
Patrick Fisher, 43, of Surrey Road, Bournemouth, was charged on 2 July 2014 with driving a Volkswagen Golf in Surrey Road, Bournemouth, while over the limit (88 microgrammes in 100ml breath) and appeared at Bournemouth Magistrates’ Court on 17 July 2014. He was fined £110, with £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge, and was banned from driving for 18 months.
Amber Harvey, 23, of Runton Road, Poole, was charged on July 5 with failing to provide a specimen for analysis and she appeared at Bournemouth Magistrates’ Court on July 21. She pleaded guilty and was fined £235, with £85 costs and a £23 victim surcharge, and was banned from driving for 14 months.
Timothy Larrive, 33, of Alexandra Road, Bournemouth, was charged on July 5 with driving a Mazda in Lyndhurst Road, Christchurch, while over the limit (48 microgrammes in 100ml breath) and he pleaded guilty at Bournemouth Magistrates’ Court on July 21. He was fined £350, with £85 costs and a £35 victim surcharge, and was banned from driving for 12 months.
Robert Walker, 25, of Kinson Road, Bournemouth, was charged on July 5 with driving a Ford Focus in Columbia Road, Bournemouth, while over the limit (67 microgrammes in 100ml breath) and he pleaded guilty at Bournemouth Magistrates’ Court on July 21. He was fined £286, with £85 costs and £28 victim surcharge, and was banned from driving for 18 months.
Julie Joyner, 50, of Ash Leah Cottages, Wimborne St Giles, was charged on July 6 with driving a Vauxhall Tigra at Gussage All Saints, Wimborne, while over the limit (41 microgrammes in 100ml breath) and she pleaded guilty at Bournemouth Magistrates’ Court on July 21. She was fined £120, with £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge, and was banned from driving for 12 months.
