A REMEMBRANCE parade and service will take place in Highcliffe.
A parade will be held on Sunday, November 9 from Abbots Close in Hinton Wood Avenue to the War Memorial for a wreath laying.
It will meet at 2.45pm for the short walk to the memorial at 3pm.
A church service will follow at St Mark’s led by Father Garry Taylor.
Highcliffe Royal British Legion’s branch standard bearer, Oliver Maddock, will parade the new standard which was dedicated on October 26.
Tea and biscuits will be served after the service.
And on Tuesday, November 11 a two-minute silence will be observed on the forecourt of the Methodist Church in Lymington Road, Highcliffe.
The Last Post and Reveille will also be played, with people meeting at 10.50am.
