Student Shouts are a democratic way for students to voice their opinions, giving them the opportunity to have an impact on anything happening on or around campus that matters to them. Since September, a new system has been introduced allowing students to begin to raise their ideas and suggestions prior to the Shout itself in a simple way on this page.
Student Shouts require at least one hundred students to be present to allow the vote to be considered as representative of the Bournemouth students. If a vote wins by over seventy five percent of those present the idea or motion is then considered a priority to the SUBU executive officers.
Student President, Chloe Schendel-Wilson urges students to attend: "I think it’s important that people attend the shout because it gives them a chance to have their say in how SUBU is run and also on what the full time officers should be campaigning for on their behalf, as they’re the link between students and the university. It’s important that students get represented properly.”
Keep up to date with all SUBU events on their facebook page.
