OFFICERS investigating a series of shed burglaries in the New Forest have released an image of a man they would like to speak with.
Two mountain bikes were stolen following a break-in in Vinney's Close, Brockenhurst, overnight on Monday, May 24, into Tuesday, May 25.
Hampshire Constabulary is also carrying out inquiries after a burglary involving a shed in Vinney's Close at 6.15am on May 17 and another in Furzey Lane, Beaulieu, at 9.15am on May 19, when two sheds were reportedly broken into.
Nothing was reported as stolen in the cases from last week.
Officers are looking to speak with a man who is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall, of stocky build, reportedly speaking with an Eastern European accent and was seen wearing a bum bag.
Police have also released images following their investigations to date.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: "This image was taken around the time of the incident in Beaulieu after a neighbour noticed him acting suspiciously.
"As this man was seen near the scene, we are looking to identify him to help us with our enquiries. Do you know him?"
Anyone with information should call Hampshire Constabulary on 101, quoting reference number 44210193126.
