MORE than 100 new coronavirus cases have been recorded across Dorset, according to the latest figures.
The latest Government figures show 105 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in the county in the 24 hours leading up to 4pm on Friday, June 18.
In the Dorset Council area, 35 new cases were reported. Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 12,221 cases confirmed across this area.
The rolling seven-day period, up to Sunday, June 13, shows that the Dorset Council area has reported 119 Covid-19 cases and has a case rate of 31.4 per 100,000 people.

70 new cases were recorded across the BCP Council area, which takes the total number of coronavirus cases since the start of the pandemic to 26,081.
The rolling seven-day period for the BCP is 268 cases, with a case rate of 67.8 per 100,000 people.
During the course of the coronavirus pandemic, there have been 38,302 cases of Covid-19 confirmed across Dorset.
Elsewhere, the New Forest area recorded six new coronavirus cases. The total number of cases since the start of the pandemic stands within the New Forest at 6,324.
The seven-day total for New Forest is 41, with a case rate of 22.8 per 100,000 people.
