BOURNEMOUTH residents and visitors were treated to spectacular summer fireworks last night for the first time since 2019.
Having been cancelled last year due to the pandemic, the popular free night-time event drew big crowds in their hundreds.
The display saw pyrotechnics light up the sky at 10pm, with visitors encouraged to make a night of it by visiting a local bar or restaurant before pulling up a deck chair to watch the show.
The weekly firework displays are organised by BCP Tourism and make up part of the Festival Coast Live! programme of outdoor activities and events celebrating community, talent, and performance in the area.
