POLICE have launched an investigation following a three car fire in the early hours of the morning.
Firefighters and police were called to Cornish Gardens at 3.35am this morning, Monday, October 25, to three cars on fire.
One crew from Redhill Park attended and two firefighters used breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.
The fire took place outside a block of flats in Cornish Gardens, all of the vehicles involved have been removed - bar one, which is badly damaged and has black bin bags lining the windows.
Burnt rubble, metal and glass remains in the place of the other vehicles.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: "Enquiries are underway to establish the cause of the fire, which is believed to have been started deliberately."
No arrests have been made.
