POLICE in Ringwood are urging the public to help “keep criminals on the back foot” by reporting burglary and drug offences.
A spokesperson said: “If you know someone involved in burglary, vehicle crime drug dealing or using vehicles illegally in the New Forest or Christchurch areas.
“Let Ringwood Police know in confidence on 101 so we can continue to target, search and seize stolen property and criminally used vehicles.
“In the last quarter we've executed warrants, recovered stolen property and arrested offenders to make towns villages and rural areas safer for all, with Hampshire Marine Unit breaching entry to multiple addresses to keep criminals on the back foot.”
The Ringwood team also reminded residents if they have information regarding stealing or dealing in surrounding towns of Bransgore, Fordingbridge or Burley but feel they can’t speak to officers directly to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, with potential for rewards where intelligence results in a conviction.
