There's not much quite as satisfying as enjoying a roast on a cold winter's day.
Sometimes though, the effort required to cook the meal and tackle the clean up afterwards, is just too much.
With this in mind, we've compiled a list of the top 5 pubs in Bournemouth that serve up a cracking roast dinner. Results are based on the reviews visitors have left on the travel website, Tripadvisor.

1812 Bar and Restaurant
Where: Exeter Road, Bournemouth BH2 5AG
Rating: 4.5/5
One reviewer wrote: "We had maybe the best Sunday roast ever.
The 1812 is a welcoming chilled place with friendly and efficient staff. The food’s superb and the surroundings sublime.
I hadn’t been for a few years and was happy that despite C-19, things are still going well.
We chose crispy duck and calamari for starters, followed by roast beef and roast pork loin. Honestly, you have to taste the food to appreciate it."
Another said: "By far the best Sunday roast in Bournemouth or even Dorset for that matter. Service is superb and the chef is outstanding. This is a wholehearted 10/10"

Dancing Jug
Where: 15-17 Poole Hill, Bournemouth BH2 5PW
Rating: 4.5/5
One reviewer wrote: "From the moment we walked in we had excellent service. Jordan offered us indoor seating or outside in the 'secret garden'. We sat outside in a quiet private little nook. There was good music which added to the atmosphere. Jordan was excellent, we were never without a drink and our food was delicious. I had the Sunday roast which was a good portion and very tasty."
Another said: "Sunday roast beef and a pint of Morretti-beautifully served, presented and most tasty-thoroughly recommended and best Sunday lunch out I’ve eaten in Bournemouth thus far."

Belgium And Blues Bournemouth
Where: 20 Post Office Road, Bournemouth BH1 1BA
Rating: 5/5
One reviewer wrote: "I love coming to Belgium and Blues as I am picky with my beer and food selection and the menu never disappoints! I can't stop ordering the cauliflower wings to pair with the multiple dark beers they have on draft. I love how the draft beers are rotating so I keep getting to try new ones. I was also very impressed with the vegan Sunday roast. One of the best house made nut roasts I've had."
Another said: "Went as a group of 8 for Sunday roast. Food was great and reasonably priced. Staff very helpful and attentive."
