THE A31 and part of the M27 that was closed last night following a serious crash has now been reopened.
Emergency services were dealing with the collision on the A31 near Rufus Stone services involving a car which had collided with a barrier.
The road was reopened this morning after a nine hour closure in both directions for 14 miles between junction two of the M27 (Ower Interchange) and the A338 at Ringwood.
A National Highways spokesperson said: "The A31 in Hampshire is now open in both directions following the earlier serious collision.
"Thank you for your patience, have safe onward journey."
