IN THIS week’s edition of the Echo pet’s page, we are shining a bright spotlight on five adorable pets that always entertain and continue to show their love towards their owners.
Today we say a big hello to a tiny pocket rocket hamster, a cat and dog both rescued from Romania and an adorable Chorkie in his bright yellow raincoat.
Karin Gregory has taken in two rescue animals from Romania.
Lily the cat loves nothing more than looking out of the window and seeing what is going on in the world, and Freya the dog likes to curl up on a nice comfortable bed.
Freddie the 12-week-old Chorkie (Chihuahua-Yorkshire Terrier cross), pictured in his favourite raincoat, belongs to Mary Buttler, who says he loves cuddles and playing with his many toys.
Pancake is a Pedigree Roborovski Dwarf hamster from Doric Hamstery located just outside of Fareham.
Abigail Pritchard, from Poole, said: “Pancake loves to eat red millet and fall asleep in my hands. In this instance, she was more than happy exploring a teacup.
“My favourite thing about Pancake is how adorable her big eyes are compared to her little body, and how fast she can run.
“When Pancake runs on her wheel, she is so fast you can't even see her legs, it's like she's hovering!”
Diddles the Jack Russell unfortunately passed away recently due to his old age. Owner Debbie Willis said that her beloved companion was “one in a million” and liked to play football.
