Bournemouth's Westover Road, described as "the last road for retail", has changed over the years but is still instantly recognisable.
We've taken a look back in photos at how it has changed over the years.
Westover Road pictured here in 1879 from St Peter's Church. Even in the early years the road was one of the thoroughfares in the town.
As the town began to grow, the roads and mansions were demolished to make way for hotels, garages, an ice rink and cinemas.
Through the years there has been a turn towards retail, pubs, and restaurants.
