CHRISTCHURCH MP Sir Christopher Chope said he was looking forward to discussing Sue Gray's report with residents - but urged them not to let partygate "interfere" with the jubilee celebrations.
Ms Gray's findings into lockdown events in Downing Street were published on Wednesday, May 25.
Her critical conclusions said “senior leadership” in Number 10 must “bear responsibility” for the culture which led to Covid rules being broken multiple times in 2020 and 2021.
There have been calls for Prime Minister Boris Johnson to resign, while Bournemouth East MP Tobias Ellwood asked his Conservative colleagues if they were willing to publicly defend the behaviour identified in the report "day in day out".
Poole MP Sir Robert Syms told the Daily Echo Mr Johnson was "using up his nine lives" and that he had handled the partygate issue poorly.

Veteran Conservative Sir Christopher said: "I look forward to discussing this weekend with my constituents and party members the finding of the report.
"But I strongly encourage everyone to concentrate on celebrating the historic Platinum Jubilee with friends and family and not to allow ‘partygate’ to interfere.
"Parliament will be able to discuss this calmly when it returns in the week commencing June 6."
