A WOMAN has been fined for breaking Covid lockdown rules at a west London underground station 19 months ago.
Darina Payne, aged 44, was alleged to have taken part in a gathering in a public outdoor place, namely Hillingdon Underground Station, which consisted of more than two people on November 28, 2020.
The offence was proved against Payne, whose address was given as Garsdale Close, Bournemouth, through the single justice procedure.
In a closed doors hearing at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, June 15, with the defendant not present, a single magistrate issued a £300 fine along with an ordered to pay £110 costs and a £34 surcharge.
