After days of yellow weather warnings and stormy conditions, Bournemouth is thankfully set for a drier weekend.
Like a large portion of the South East of England, the Met Office announced a yellow thunderstorm warning for the area for three days in a row.
Whether you are planning a day out with the family or you simply want to dodge any showers while you do your shopping, here is your forecast to help you plan ahead.

Friday, August 19
On Friday, we can expect an overall dry day with sunny intervals.
Temperatures will reach highs of 24C and we will see lows of 14C although it will likely feel cooler.
You should also be prepared for high pollen and UV levels but the pollution level is expected to be low.
There is a fairly low chance of rain throughout the day with light showers most likely in the morning but this drops quickly for a dry and fairly sunny afternoon.
Saturday, August 20
Saturday starts off sunny but is predicted to cloud over by lunchtime.
We can expect highs of 21C and lows of 16 but it will feel like 17C and 14C respectively.
Although the day looks cloudy, it looks like it will be dry with a fairly low chance of showers.
Sunday, August 21
Sunday is perhaps the worst day this weekend with clouds changing to light showers later on in the day.
You should expect temperatures to reach 20C, dropping to lows of 18C.
It will be another high pollen level day and you should plan for a light shower from around 1 pm.
However, the rain isn't likely to last and while it won't exactly be sunny, it shouldn't be pouring either!
