The Cumberland Hotel
Where: 27 East Overcliff Drive, Bournemouth BH1 3AF
Rating: 4.5/5
What guests are saying: "We have just spent 5 nights in The Cumberland and we had a lovely time. Everything was really great. The room was fantastic, big, clean, comfortable. Big balcony with sunbeds, overlooking the sea, it was worth to pay a little extra. The weather was really hot, it was really good to have air con.
"The staff were very helpful, friendly and polite. Breakfast had enough variety and very tasty, the decor of the restaurant and other function rooms was really spot on Art Deco. And the attention to detail with the 30s-40s soft music over breakfast, I loved it."
The Durley Dean Hotel
Where: 28 West Cliff Road, Bournemouth BH2 5HE
Rating: 4/5
What guests are saying: "This is the fourth time we have stayed, three times before as a family and this time just as a couple.
"Always really lovely staff and the rooms and the whole building is all very clean, great value stay, we loved it and will no doubt stay again in the future, thank you. We swam twice during our stay which was really very nice."
Bournemouth West Cliff Hotel
Where: 7 Durley Chine Road, Bournemouth BH2 5JS
Rating: 3.5/5
What guests are saying: "Lovely place, not too far from beach and town.
"Receptionist's really friendly and welcoming.
"Overall, a really good stay, breakfast was very good, waiters and waitresses always met customer needs.
"Housekeeping also spot on, rooms were cleaned on a regular.
"Only downside is there's no AC so keep that in mind if you're going on a really hot day, other than that I would recommend anyone to try this hotel."
