BRANSGORE'S only butcher is closing after 12 years due to the economic crisis.
Bransgore Country Market is closing due to increasing energy costs as well as the rising cost of meat, they say it would no longer be "viable" to remain in business.
The family-run business announced the closure with "great sadness."
Their last day will be Saturday, October 15.
Bransgore Country Market broke the news of their closure in a social media post: "It is with great sadness that we have decided to close the shop, Saturday, October 15 will be our last day.
"The current situation with increasing energy and also meat costs makes it no longer viable for us to stay open.

"We have had a very happy 12 and a half years running the shop and will miss all our loyal customers very much.
"We are open this Friday 14 and Saturday 15 for a half price sale on all stock, everything must go. Fill up your freezer with Bransgore bangers, half price! While they are still available."
Bransgore's community are very sad to see the business go and have flooded their social media post with kind messages.
One commenter said: "This is such very sad news, your Bransgore Bangers are legendary in three generations of our family.

"What a part of the village you are, and how much that meant over the pandemic. Sure my Dad will be in today but we all wish you happiness and luck in the future."
Another said: "I’ve just broken the news to my kids who both started crying and said does this mean no more Bransgore bangers. Very sad, sorry to hear this."
Another commented: "That is such sad news to wake up to.
"You have provided the Bransgore community with great quality food while you were always guaranteed a good laugh while you were shopping.
"I hope that people will remember how you stepped up in the pandemic. Good luck."
