A Bournemouth hotel has been named among the 10 best new hotels in Britain by The Guardian.
The Nici in West Cliff, which opened in July earlier this year, was included in their travel section article.
In describing The Nici, The Guardian wrote: "Step through the gleaming white portico of the Nici and you could be in South Beach, Miami. Statement artworks, bold fabrics and clean white walls mean Bournemouth finally has a luxury hotel that’s bang on trend.
"The best rooms have sea views, overlooking the pristine lawned garden and shimmering pool, while downstairs the South Beach restaurant offers cocktails on the terrace, local seafood and poolside snacks."
Formerly the Savoy Hotel the site was transformed into The Nici following a £27m investment.
In total, the hotel contains 73 bedrooms, including 10 garden suites with outdoor hot tubs, a vibrant bar and a restaurant.

Alongside that, the site has an extended outdoor terrace, meeting and event spaces and a garden and pool, with private poolside cabanas.
Additionally, The Nici is family-friendly and houses a children’s games room and an outdoor activities centre, offering surfboards, beach gear and games.
BCP Council has also approved plans for added features including a spa, fitness suite, meeting rooms as well as garden and terrace dining.
You can book a stay at The Nici via their website.
