A 14-year-old boy has been arrested after a teenager was allegedly injured with a pair of scissors.
Emergency services were called to Colliers Lane in Wool at 3.30pm on Friday afternoon, March 10.
It was reported a teenage boy had been assaulted by another teen and it was alleged an injury was caused by a pair of scissors.
Officers attended and a 14-year-old was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent.
The injured boy was treated by the ambulance service for a minor injury.
It is believed the boys involved were known to each other and the matter is now the subject of a full investigation by detectives from Dorset County CID, according to Dorset Police.
A police spokesman said: "Detectives would like to thank members of the public for their patience and understanding as enquiries are conducted into a reported assault on a teenage boy in Wool.
"There was a significant police presence as emergency services responded to this incident and we would like to thank members of the community for their cooperation.
"Local officers can be approached by members of the public with any concerns."
