CHRISTCHURCH are looking for a new manager just weeks away from the start of the Wessex Premier League season after Fawzi Saadi departs to take up a role at Cherries.
Former Cherries youngster Saadi himself stepped into the breach at Hurn Bridge last summer after Wayne Smith departed for Shaftesbury after just a month as manager.
But now Priory are looking for a fourth manager in 14 months, following Callum Brooks' spell that staved off relegation at the end of the 2021-22 season.
A statement on Christchurch’s social media read: “It is with great regret to announce the departure & resignation of our manager Fawzi Saadi.
We want to take this time to thank Fawzi for everything he has done for the club & we wish him all the best for the future, as he moves on to work with AFC Bournemouth Academy where I am sure his coaching skills will develop and teach potential footballers to reach their dream.
“The club will make a decision regarding management within the next few days, as we are currently at a crucial point of planning for the coming season.
“We understand this has to be done expeditiously however it is equally important to take a little time to ensure the right person or people are appointed to match Christchurch FC's ambitions and high expectations for the season ahead.”
