BOURNEMOUTH Beach is proving to be more popular than ever before on social media.
In 2022, Bournemouth Beach reached TikTok views of 12,200,000, according to research.
Now, there has been a 77% increase in views, totalling up to 52,900,000 views.
The added extra of being able to hire a beach hut boosted the views by 79% in the last year.
Lulworth Cove was named sixth overall, with a 69.61% increase of 10,200,000 views in 2023.
Parkdean Resorts are the leading operator of holiday parks in the UK, welcoming over 3.5 million holidaymakers each year.
A spokesperson for Parkdean Resorts said: “Seeing Bournemouth Beach and Lulworth Cove grow massively in terms of popularity on TikTok in the last 12 months is no surprise when you realise what they have to offer.
“Bournemouth Beach is ranked among the world’s best, for good reason.
“With seven miles of clean, golden sand and surfable waters it has a great combination of seaside amusements, excellent dining and nightlife, making it the perfect beach destination for the whole family.
“It's great for British classics like fish and chips on the beach or ice cream on the pier.
“You can also visit the Russell-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum which contains a stunning collection of Victorian art as well as the Oceanarium which has brilliant wildlife to enjoy.
“Lulworth Cove is another of our favourites on the Dorset coastline. Known as one of the Jurassic Coast’s most famous attractions, a day at the cove is always destined to be a good one.
“With stunning scenic views, the cove offers a real ‘wow’ moment as you walk up the path, with the cliffs as an amazing viewpoint.
“There are also plenty of water sports on offer including kayaking as well as amazing walking trails along the coast with plenty of perfect photo opportunities and places to eat.
“Lulworth Cove is a must-visit in Dorset if you’re looking for more than a day just relaxing on the beach.”
West Bay in Dorset also made the league, in tenth place with 29,000,000, a 40.34% increase from the previous year.
