A NEW hair and beauty academy aiming to “empower aspiring professionals” - Holmes of Beauty Academy is Trader of the Week.
Based in Winton, Holmes of Beauty Academy provides beauty comprehensive and accredited courses in hair, beauty, and aesthetics.
It was launched only last week from the existing Holmes of Beauty salon in Wimborne Road.
Behind the academy is an all-female team led by Jasmine Holmes, and between them, they hold years of experience working in the beauty industry.
The team say they are ready to “revolutionise the beauty education landscape”.
The courses are available to individuals who have no previous experience in beauty, as well as established hairstylists and beauty therapists who are keen to refresh or expand their skill set or widen their range of services.
The diverse range of courses offered includes nails training, lash training, and waxing, with bespoke packages available to save both time and money.
For those looking for a complete beauty education, the ‘complete beauty therapist course’ offers all essential treatments to become a one-stop-shop for beauty needs.
Other specialised packages, such as the ‘lash tech package’ and ‘nail tech essentials package’ cater to specific interests and ambitions.
Hair courses at Holmes of Beauty Academy are led by Michael Pollock - a multi-award-winning hair stylist with experience both in the UK and abroad.
There are a range of hair courses on offer, including bleach and blends, men’s hair, hair extensions, colour theory workshops, and creative cutting workshops.
As an accredited institution by ABT (Associated Beauty Therapists), students can be assured of receiving top-quality training and recognised certifications, setting them up for success in their future careers.
After completing a course, ongoing support and aftercare are provided to ensure each graduate has what they need to excel in their beauty career.
Holmes of Beauty Academy says it prides itself on “fostering a friendly and professional environment” that “supports students throughout their learning journey and beyond”.
