MORE than 1000 people flooded into Bournemouth for Drum and Bass on the Bike.
DJ Dom Whiting’s music and cycling ‘moving festival’ had its biggest turnout yet as it came to the town for the third time in three years.
Dom, 27, told the Daily Echo it was ‘really good’ to come to Bournemouth.
“It’s a home from home and I really like that,” he said.
People of all ages on bikes, roller blades and scooters of all shapes and sizes left the Vitality Stadium car park shortly after 2.30pm.
The revellers headed into Boscombe and along Christchurch Road into Bournemouth town centre.
From there, the collective went down Old Christchurch Road to Horseshoe Common, then to the Bath Hill Roundabout before heading along Westover Road.
The ride finished at Boscombe Pier, after travelling through Bournemouth Lower Gardens to Bournemouth Pier, and moving between the piers on the prom.
As the group moves, a variety of electronic music entertains the crowds and passers-by.
The ride was live streamed on Dom’s Facebook page, attracting more than 1000 reactions and more than 700 comments, at the time of writing.
