A number of pets in Dorset are looking for their forever homes, including at the Ashley Heath Animal Centre.

Located on the border with Hampshire, the centre offers care for its animals in rural surroundings.

A few animals from the centre are listed below but more can be found on the centre's website.

Gender - Not stated on profile

Age - Between zero and three months old

Breed - Staffordshire Bull Terrier crossbreed

Colour - Black

Lorelei came into the care of the RSPCA with another puppy called Rowan having been abandoned at only a few weeks old.

They were suffering from parvovirus and mange, but after a short stint in hospital, they are now fit and healthy enough to be able to find their forever homes.

Ashley Heath is looking to rehome them separately and to go into homes where someone is around for the majority of the day to help with socialisation and training.

Lorelei is expected to be a large and strong dog when fully grown so having an owner with experience of the breed would be helpful.

Age - Between zero and three months old

Breed - Staffordshire Bull Terrier crossbreed

Colour - Brown

As stated above Rowan came into the care of the RSPCA with Lorelei, and is looking to find a forever home separately.

Ashley Heath said: "Due to their poor start in life they have missed out on critical socialisation from a young age and it is extremely important that they attend training classes to help shape them into well-rounded adults."

A home with a private, secure and enclosed garden is also needed for Rowan to develop properly.

Lucky

Gender - Male

Age - One year old

Breed - Domestic Shorthair crossbreed

Colour - Black

If you want to adopt Lucky you can view their full profile here.

Lucky arrived at the centre due to a welfare concern and is now looking for a forever home.

He is quite shy, is not keen on being handled and he can get quite stressed, but he can enjoy some fuss once he gets to know someone.

Lucky could possibly be rehomed with another cat, but not a dog. Additionally, he could be rehomed with children 10 years old or above.

He is not to be rehomed within five miles of Christchurch (BH23).

Gender - Not stated on profile

Age - One year old

Breed - Domestic

Colour - White (Yoyo) and Brown (Nesquik)

If you want to adopt Yoyo and Nesquik you can view their full profile here.

Yoyo and Nesquik are a pair of rabbits who are looking to find a home together after they were found abandoned.

Nesquik is considered to be the more confident one of the pair, although they are both a little shy and timid.

Ashley Heath adds: "It's quite clear that they haven't had much handling before coming into our care. We are working with them slowly to build their confidence and have positive experiences with us."

They would need a quiet home with no young children.
