Dean Park Day Nursery
Dean Park Day Nursery is situated in the beautifully converted Cooper Dean Pavilion near Bournemouth town centre and opens 51 weeks a year, welcoming babies and children from 3 months to 4 years old. The nursery benefits from exceptional facilities with direct access to six acres to learn, play and explore. Dean Park Nursery offers a learning environment that has a strong focus on outdoor learning and discovery, allowing children to experience and interact with nature every day.
Dean Park also boasts impressive indoor facilities which have recently been reconfigured to create dedicated spaces for the nursery’s youngest children and maximise access to the grounds for the older children. The nursery offers a safe, warm, and engaging space where each child is nurtured and cared for, and children are confident to share their ideas.
Dean Park Nursery has invested in recruiting highly qualified staff and has recently appointed a new Nursery Manager, Rachel Zito. Rachel brings with her extensive experience in childcare and leads a knowledgeable team of nursery practitioners who put children’s care, safety, and development at the forefront of all Dean Park’s activities.
Rachel said: “Children within our Early Years setting learn by having access to a range of wonderful resources that promote creativity, exploration and ignite their imagination. Our talented and professional team of practitioners skilfully plan enriched activities whilst allowing children to ask questions and to explore by following their curious nature.”
At Dean Park Day Nursery, curriculum goals are in place to ensure all children can access the same experiences and knowledge. The Nursery follows the Early Years Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage 2021 (EYFS) and follows Birth to Five Matters guidance. This relates to the seven areas of learning: Communication and Language, Physical Development, Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World and Expressive Arts and Design.
