A VILLAGE Christmas tree festival will light up a church, spreading festive cheer this weekend.
The St Luke's Christmas Tree Festival in Burton, near Christchurch started on Thursday, November 30 and continues until Sunday, December 3.
The event will see 25 Christmas trees decorated by different village groups under the theme of Christmas music.
People are invited to come along and see if they can guess the song which relates to each tree.
On Saturday, a Christmas fayre will also take place in the church hall from 10am until 4pm, and include stalls, refreshments, and a grand Christmas raffle.
Entry to the festival will be from 10.30am until 4pm each day until Sunday.
Everyone is welcome.
