A Dorset holiday park operator has been honoured with three golds at the 2023 British Travel Awards (BTAs).
Parkdean Resorts, which operates sites in Warmwell, West Bay and Sandford, near Wareham, continues to ride the wave of success from last year by taking home the Gold Award in all three categories it was nominated for: Best Company for UK Family Holidays; Best Company for UK Parks and Lodges Holidays; Best Company for UK Short Breaks.
The latest success extends the firm's remarkable winning streak at the BTAs, where it has won at least one award for 13 years running.
The BTAs are the largest consumer-voted travel awards in the UK, and a record of 1,660,863 votes were cast across the travel and leisure categories this year. The event was hosted by sports presenter and actress, Charlotte Jackson Coleman, alongside Strictly Come Dancing’s “Voice in the Gods”, Alan Dedicoat.
Xavier Vallee, chief customer officer at Parkdean Resorts, said: “These awards mean so much to us because they’re voted for by the people who visit our parks. Our teams are committed to creating amazing experiences for all our holidaymakers and holiday homeowners, and for so many members of the public to vote for us in these three categories shows what a fantastic impact our people have had over the last year.”
The company continues to record excellent visitor reviews with 2023 year-to-date feedback scores of 4.2/5 on Google, 4.5/5 on Facebook and 4.1/5 on TripAdvisor, while 85% of people who visited a park would recommend the company.
