A ‘SPECTACULAR’ Christmas parade is set to return this weekend.
Wareham Christmas Parade will hit the streets around the town on Sunday, December 10.
The parade, which begins at 4.30pm, will see a host of floats along with marching bands and walking displays to delight the crowds.
It will, of course, also feature Santa.
Each year, Santa, resplendent in his golden boots, arrives in the town by different methods.
Last year, he arrived on a large steam traction engine, which was a hit with the assembled parade-goers.
In years before, he has turned up in style via boat, a white stretch hummer, and a vintage fire truck.
The organisers said they are planning ‘something spectacular’ to match previous years.
There will also be live entertainment provided on the stage, by the town cross.
The Christmas lights are up in the town and the Christmas tree is ready for the day and excitement is building ahead of Santa’s arrival.
