Several pets in Dorset are looking for their forever homes, including at the Ashley Heath Animal Centre.
Located on the border with Hampshire, the centre offers care for its animals in rural surroundings.
A few animals from the centre are listed below but more can be found on the centre's website.

Trigger
Gender - Male
Age - Five years old
Breed - German Shepherd crossbreed
Colour - Black and Tan
If you want to adopt Trigger you can view their full profile here.
Trigger was removed from his previous owner after the inspectorate received a report of a dog being kept locked in a room without any food or water.
He came into the care of the RSPCA extremely thin, but is overall making good progress on weight gain despite finding kennel life a bit stressful.
Ideally, he would go to a home with owners who are experienced with his breed and one that is an adult-only environment.
He has the potential to bark and pull towards other animals, but is also quick to command and attentive to his handlers.
Bonnie
Gender - Female
Age - 10 years old
Breed - Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour - Black and White
If you want to adopt Bonnie you can view their full profile here.
Bonnie came into the care of the RSPCA after her previous owner sadly passed away. She was then left in the property with a number of other cats.
She has taken time to settle at Ashley Heath, but she loves having the time spent with her and enjoys a good bit of attention.
Ideally, she would go to a quiet home and could live with children over the age of 10.
Winter
Gender - Female
Age - One year old
Breed - Hamster (Roborovski)
Colour - Grey and White
If you want to adopt Winter you can view their full profile here.
Winter came into the care of the RSPCA after being found abandoned in a supermarket car park.
She will need owners who can give her the time and patience to get used to being handled.
Like many dwarf hamsters, she can be very fast and speedy, so care is needed when handling.
The RSPCA adds: "She will need suitable housing with plenty or enrichment to keep her busy. Winter will need a suitable cage, with a minimum size of 50cm x 80cm x 35cm.
"A suitably sized wheel, tunnels and hides. Housing should have small spaced bars or no bars to avoid any escapes."
Angel and Yoda
Gender - Not stated on the profile
Age - Five years old (approx.)
Breed - Chihuahua crossbreed
Colour - White (Angel) and Brown (Yoda)
If you want to adopt Angel and Yoda you can view their full profile here.
Angel and Yoda came into the care of the RSPCA after being removed from unsuitable living conditions.
They are now looking to find a home together and will require owners experienced with Chihuahua breeds and their behaviours.
Someone will need to stay at home with them initially as they are likely to need some housetraining due to previously living in dirty conditions.
Both lack social skills with other dogs so can easily be scared or worried by them.
