DORSET Police has announced a list of stations that will now be open to the public on a regular basis.
The force announced on Monday, February 12 six police stations across Dorset have new opening hours for people to walk in to and get help.
Stations in Bridport, Lyme Regis, Sherborne, Swanage, Wareham and Weymouth have all announced new times they will be open to members of the public.
People will be able to talk to staff face-to-face to report a crime or incident.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We are really pleased to let you know that many of our police stations are now open to the public."
Here is a list of the when you can visit your local police force:
- Bridport: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 10.30am and 3.30pm.
- Gillingham: Monday and Fridays between 10am and 3.30pm
- Lyme Regis: Tuesdays between 9.30am and 3.30pm
- Sherborne: Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10am and 3.30pm
- Swanage: Mondays and Fridays between 9.30am and 3.30pm
- Wareham: Mondays and Fridays between 9.30am and 3.30pm
- Weymouth: Mondays to Friday between 8am and 5.30pm and Saturdays between 9am and 4.30pm
