A CLUB in Christchurch town centre has plans to keep the party going until 4am.
Cameron's Club and Lounge in Bargates has requested to stay open later on Fridays and Saturdays.
At present, the venue closes at 3.30am on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2.30am on all other days.
A premises licence application, submitted by Esmecam Limited, asks for the permitted hours for licensable activities to be varied.
It requests alcohol sales, late night refreshments and recorded music can continue until 4am on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve and Sundays before a bank holiday Monday.
The application also seeks to change a number of conditions on the existing premises licence.
These include changing last entry on Fridays and Saturdays to 3am, and having a personal licence holder at the venue from 11pm.
A request has been also made to change a condition so where the capacity of the premises is restricted to 150 persons, only three SIA door supervisors need to be employed from midnight.
A decision is yet to be made on the premises licence application.
It will remain open for publication until March 7, and representations must be made in writing to BCP Council’s licensing team before this date.
