Several pets in Dorset are looking for their forever homes, including at the Ashley Heath Animal Centre.
Located on the border with Hampshire, the centre offers care for its animals in rural surroundings.
A few animals from the centre are listed below but more can be found on the centre's website.
To help the Ashley Heath Animal Centre carry on their work you can donate to their website here.
Sparkle
Gender - Female
Age - One year old
Breed - British Bulldog crossbreed
Colour - Black
If you want to adopt Sparkle you can view their full profile here.
Sparkle is described as a "friendly and affectionate" dog who came into the care of the RSPCA from a puppy farm environment.
She walks reasonably well on the lead, knows some basic commands and loves chasing after toys.
Sparkle would like a home where she can have access to a secure garden with someone at home for most of the day initially to help her adjust to her new environment.
Flora
Gender - Female
Age - One year old
Breed - Domestic Longhair crossbreed
Colour - Black and White
If you want to adopt Flora you can view their full profile here.
Flora arrived at the centre from a large multi-household of other cats, and as a result, has had very little human contact.
She will need time to settle into a new environment and will be best suited to a quiet home with adopters who have had experience with nervous cats before.
Flora could get used to living with another cat given the time and space to settle.
Dot
Gender - Female
Age - Six to 12 months old
Breed - Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour - White and Black
If you want to adopt Dot you can view their full profile here.
Dot arrived into the care of the RSPCA from a large household of cats and will need time to settle into a new environment.
Whilst at the centre, she has taken her time to get used to the cattery routine, although, she has been enjoying her meal times and enrichments provided.
She has started to enjoy some attention when feeding so some progress is being made.
Dot would be ideally placed in a quiet home with adopters who have had experience with nervous cats before.
George
Gender - Male
Age - Five years old
Breed - Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour - Tabby/White
If you want to adopt George you can view their full profile here.
George came to Ashley Heath after being removed from a large multi-cat household and he is now ready to find a new home.
He will need understanding owners to help him settle in as he is quite nervous around people.
It would be best for him to have his own room before being introduced to the rest of the house.
George will also need to be the only pet in the home and not live with any children.
