The best-rated McDonald's in the BCP area is the one located near Bournemouth's town centre on Old Christchurch Road.

This has been achieved whilst also having the most reviews out of all of the BCP McDonald's.

One satisfied customer wrote: "Fantastic store. They had great safety procedures in place and really good staff. Food came out fresh and delicious and we were even greeted on the way out. Very nice."

2. Somerford Road McDonald's

The second highest-rated McDonald's in the BCP area is located on Somerford Road in Christchurch, with many reviewers praising the quality of the service and food.

One customer wrote: "Actually a McDonalds that is a pleasure to visit. In fact I sought this one out after the other half reminded me that we were close by when returning from the air festival."

3. Boscombe McDonald's

Moving over to Boscombe now, this McDonald's restaurant managed the same score on Google Reviews as the Somerford Road one, but with fewer reviews.

One customer was very happy with their experience, writing: "A great place. Clean toilets and a soft play area - using the McDonald's app really makes handling two small children less stressful there".

Christchurch's second McDonald's has placed around the middle in the BCP ranking, partially due to the fact it has far fewer reviews than all of the other spots.

One reviewer wrote: "Standard McDonald's, they're all pretty similar. It has a drive-thru and plenty of parking. I've only generally been in the evening where it's often quieter, but have had good service and good food!"

5. Asda Bournemouth McDonald's

Located inside the Asda next to St Paul's Road this can be a convenient spot to grab a bit of food after doing a bit of shopping.

It was mostly well-received by customers, with one writing: "Fast and good. Great for a quick bite or for a good and cheap coffee on the go. I find it very convenient as it is right inside Asda. Plenty of places where to sit inside."

Going down the ratings again very slightly is the McDonald's in Branksome, which still on the whole is fairly well-received.

One reviewer wrote: "Busy drive through but good service and typical McDonald's high standard of food."

Beginning on the lower end of reviews there is the McDonald's located at the Wessex Gate Retail Park in Poole, which overall was still well-received.

One disappointed customer didn't have an especially great experience though, writing: "You always risk a cold burger from McD if you keep it standard, but even after customising and parking to wait for my non-standard burger, it still arrived cold."

The McDonald's at Manning Health Retail Park did have its fair share of positive reviews but there were enough negative experiences had here to ensure it was the second lowest rated in the BCP area.

One person wrote: "Food was cold, twice.. ! They were too busy and the quality was rushed and poor - wrap was half empty!! Disappointing even for McD's!"

9. Castlepoint McDonald's

The McDonald's restaurant at Castlepoint was the lowest-ranked of the BCP venues, having a score of 3.4/5.

Even with it having the lowest score it still received more positive than negative reviews.

One customer shared: "There is not enough sitting room. The service is extremely slow. The ONLY reason I would ever eat there is if you fancy something hot (well, midly warm) to eat after shopping in Asda."
